Low Budget Music Videos





Group 4- Just got paid 

Mise-En-Scene
Costume- All 5 singers are wearing suits making them all look similar and gives them a boy band appearance and suits are also stereotypically known for being expensive. 

Location- The location of the music video is at a large/ fashionable house with chandeliers and patterned carpets. Additionally a black dropped background with stage lights creates the appearance of a boy band as the lights focus on the group together or when solos occur during the video.

Lighting- Through out the video there is professional looking lighting as the bright lighting behind the artists make them stand out instead of the background making the audience focus on them more. 

Sound
Lip synching- The lip synching is in time with the music making the video look professional.

Camera Work 
Camera shots- There are multiple shots of the group being at different locations within the house which keeps the audience intrigued to the video.

Focus- All of the shots in the music video are within focus meaning that no shots are blurry meaning that the audience can see everything in the video clearly. 

Editing
The fast paced editing allows the music video flow and look very professional. Additionally the continuous editing and shots also allow the video to flow and is in time with the beat of the music.

Mise-En-Scene
Lighting- The high and low key lighting creates an eerie and dark atmosphere. Additionally, the lighting creates shadows and distorted/ blurry images making the audience feel uncomfortable. The bright lighting makes the artist stand out and the audience focus on her. 

Location-  There is a use of multiple locations which keeps the audience attracted to the music video.

Sound
Lip Synching- The lip synching in the music video is in time with the music making the music video look professional and of high quality.

Camera work
All the shots included in the video were in focus meaning the audience was able to see everything in the video clearly which makes it look more professional and there is a range of camera shots used throughout the music video. 

Editing
Superimposition- This editing technique is used through out the video which makes image distort and go uneven. This stands out to the audience as it is a unique and attractive editing technique.

The fast paced and continuous editing makes the music video look very professional and makes it flow really well which is effective for the audience.
